Week 5 - Cultivating Mindfulness in Daily Life
Now that we have explored the formal practices of Mindfulness Meditation that take place on sitting on the cushion we want to bring this way of being into our daily lives and realize that the opportunity to practice is there in everything we do. Mindfulness can be practiced washing the dishes, folding the laundry, taking your dog for a walk, or brushing your teeth. Whether the mind is perfectly still or active in a state of creation and expression, there is this tranquility of awareness that is present.

Discuss bringing mindfulness meditation into our daily lives and how we can maintain our mindfulness at home and at work.
Discuss the principles of effortlessness and non-meditation.
Summarize the teachings that have been presented and answer any remaining questions that students have.
Discuss further classes in the future to deepen our practice.
